It's very busy but it tells the story. I've also been on the very spot so it was enjoyable to relive my visit. The faces make the image. You could desaturate the red CocaCola which is competing with the people. I know it's symbolic of Times Square but still in this case it bothers. |

My initial impact was very high as I took in the scene. The image is heavy in horizontal lines and split in half as well but the curves of the foliage and the mountain break that up. I think using the shadows slider would help the boat and the foliage. |

Since so much of the frame is the rocks I also tried working on that area. Using the gradient tool, playing with exposure, clarity, maybe something else, this is what I came up with. Sort of like the others. |

Straightening building helped me appreciate the scene more. The crop made the mill larger too. The mill and the river make a good combination. That diagonal line, which I think is a path or bridge, takes the eye right along the river and connects the mill to the whitest spot in the frame. Nice! |

It sure gets your attention! I like where the eye is in the frame. Seem to me the trees could be larger to give a more realistic sense of proportion between the poor critter who's been yanked from his real home. |

What fun this project looks like. I agree there is no connection to the original. No sense of knives at all, but still, it's an interesting abstract. For me, the white of the knives is overwhelming the top of the image. SO maybe tone down the whites? |

There's a great feeling of expanse here. No hint of civilization; peaceful. |

You "sucked" me in with this because I also love dogs. Your composite shows their energy and sort of shares their lives with the viewer. Thanks. |

You are an expert in practicing the "leading lines" rule. I went to your website and found many really fine images. I'm glad you pointed that out. You image this month could use some cropping on the sky; about half would do. |

What a fun image which is made that way by the face. The red and yellow behind our friend there add some depth the to image. Nice! |

A great demonstration of some of the tools we have at our disposal. It screams Fall color and while it may be a bit over the top in saturation, so what! |

We certainly know where the sun is. It's an unusual capture of that lighting. I think you could crop some off the left. |

I'm using the Iphone 14 pro. No close up attachment.
Jerry, what did you mean by a "round about way to get the image and comments in" |
