Your camera settings explain a lot about the situation you faced, Well done, indeed. The bird's eye might have more impact if the red there was brightened to approximate the red of the flower. Another wonderful from you. |

There's a loneliness to this because while the scene is so inviting, there is not a human in sight. The pilings add a diagonal line in the frame which is all horizontal lines. A darker sky could help the mood of the image. |

This works , I think, because it quickly tells the story. I can almost hear the music. Did you drop a coin in the case or purchase a CD which I think he's selling? |

You caught the rising sun just right. Without that break in the colors of the image, the foreground, while beautiful geologically speaking, would not be enough to make the image as interesting as it is.

The two human figures give a great perspective to the entire, very beautiful scene. It could be a very very busy image but the face of the man gives the eye a place to settle. Then the path take us through to rest of the frame. |

This image so perfectly captures the moment and the tension of the situation. In one more second we will know if the runner is out or not. It's like time is suspended. Nice going. |

Jerry, you're correct about the Live Photo. In this case I was after the settings in ProCamera which allow real camera options. How could I obtain anything close to them in Live Photo? |

Nice shot, indeed, Bob. Yes, life is easier with the DSLR. ProCamera does offer some controls but it surely isn't a regular camera YET! |

The pole also gives a sense of depth so that's another reason to keep it. |

ProCamera, Dick. It's in my rather too long comments. |

Yes, good blur on the water. There is a nice "s" curve to the river which takes the eye through. I wish the sky was darker. |

This nicely tell the story. I think the small umbrella and the people at the end of the path add to that story. The horizon line could be corrected. |

Well executed B&W with nice tones throughout the image. The angle of the train add a dynamic element. I wonder that since the engine is not shown anyway, why not crop on the left to where the pole is. Might make a simpler image. |

Interesting to learn about the app used here. The flowers have a common element in the structure of the petals which seems to connect the two flowers. Dick, sorry to be dense but are you telling me both flowers are Bee Balm? |

The slight blur you created with the reverse structure worked well here. The Glamour Glow must be what gave the image the strong punch. All together the image really pops off the screen. |

This works well as a record shot and the explanation is very helpful in understanding what the image is all about. |
