Good for you to have captured this. I bet you took many, many shots. My only tiny addition would be to put a small catch light in the eye which is now almost buried in the dark top of the bird. That might disqualify the image in the Nature category but make it more interesting. |

Good eyes to spot this one. Is that also a nest above the gull, I wonder? Maybe it's a gull duplex. I'm not sure about that bright orange..it's competing with the main part of the shot which is the gull. |

A fine historical record shot and an important memory from your trip. |

What fun and how creative. The single really cracked egg is in a perfect position. |

A strong and impactful image. His face and eyes are a bit too dark,in my opinion, and are overwhelmed by the brightness of the horn. |

The Alpen glow helps define the cold of the rest of the image. Good shot. |

The reflection in the puddle combined with the interesting curve of the white line makes this image work. I think I'd crop the top completely to the fence. |

Interesting discussion about which image is better. Maybe they both work. For me, the color version maintains more of the fog so that's my pick. |

There is something surreal about it and i think part of that is the color difference. The blending worked beautifully and your explanation is very helpful. The falls are the main part of the image so cutting the sky back and making more of a panorama worked for me. |

Pamela, I don't blame you for being confused. My flower shot was posted in error because it was intended for a different group. The tree is a Group 51 image. |
