Joey,
Pic was shot in San Diego area. Not sure about the variety though.
About the image…I tried cutting back on number of posts and deleting the houses. Finally I felt they gave some context to the image but were not intrusive. |

This certainly conveys cold so I would remove other elements that distract from that. In this case it's the people. However, the stone wall on the right is interesting and I'd hate to lose too much of it.I agree with cutting back on the sky. |

I understand what you are after and what you want to show but it misses for me. I'm okay with the tones but my eye needs something to see. There seems to be a bird way out there but it's too small to be effective. How about adding a small boat to the image? |

The bird's colors and tones work very well with its background. Dennis's processing helps separate the hawk from the background. Fine detail especially given the circumstances of the shooting. |

Just enough background blur to help our eyes focus on the interesting face. There is a very bright patch of fur just to the right of the eyes that could be darkened. Since the eyes do have a dark catch light, I would lighten those. |

A very lifelike shot. Subject is well positioned in the frame Shows the great longevity of Kodachrome film. This image is a bit hot but it could be my laptop screen. |

Clever and useful set up. Thanks for the info on the lighting. Posting the finished image brought it all together. |

Yes, it makes sense and it a great use of the tools. Did you make a layer in stacks . If you can selectively paint out edits on the base layer, you've given me a great tip. |

Dramatic and effective.A couple of things to try to see if it helps or not would be to crop some sky off the top to make the rock even more dominant and brush out the white shells which are distractions. Or, leave it alone since it's pretty fine now. |

All the great detail, even in the dark parts of the roof! Remarkable things these cameras. The entire scene, including the bare trees convey a feeling of decay and age. |

The repeating patterns and lines, the detail and sharpness throughout make this a fine image. Try cutting the wall on the left, which is very dominant, in about half and see how it brings the rest of the image more to attention. The crop also emphasizes the vertical nature of many of the lines. |

The curve of the river and the bend of the banks add a lot of interest here. For me the water is too sharp. While there is a beautiful sky, cropping some off the top would bring the eye to the water. Tricky walking around in this environment so good for you to be able to get this. |

Heck of a challenge for the phone to get all this right.Jerry, what did you mean by "soft sharpening"? In a more perfect world, I'd have the gnome looking at the squirrels. The image made me smile on first sight. |

The very dramatic silhouettes of the cacti work well with your nicely improved tones of the sky. I'm not sure but can't we control shutter speed and ISO when using ProCamera or other apps that do about the same things? A little crop on the left would takes out the wayward branches. |
