A shoe store on a space ship! What else could it be. The image grabs the eye and you roam throughout the frame. The two main people add a balance that works for me. Good eye to get this. |

There is a mystery to this image. What is it we are looking at...snow? sand? what? The lonely tree captures the eye but it's too small to be really effective. So cropping the image could help. The road adds little so you could try taking it out completely. The patterns in the snow along with the tree make this an unusual and interesting shot. |

A wonderful experiment and a success by all means. The smoke could be used as an element, or layer, in another image. The reference of it looking like a wig, or wild hair, works for me too. |

Flat lighting can be an advantage in that it doesn't create shadows you may not want. This bird has a delicate feeling about it which works well. I would use the clone tool to replace the white areas on top with the blurry foliage already surrounding the bird. |

It has stunning impact due the detailed sharpness throughout. The angle of the typewriter creates diagonal lines that make great movement in the frame. |

As an exercise you may have done about all you could although there are endless variations that are possible. Could you use a recognizable object, say a mysterious face, looking out? It would be an attention getter. |

I get the feeling of huge, towering trees. Maybe threatening to fall over from the weight of snow. This could be effective in a poster sized print. The road and its angle of entry into the frame are right on. |

The B&W image grabs and holds the eye better. It also adds a dramatic element to the end of life story for the roses. The vignette, while a bit severe, works well in this case. |

Mondrian awakes? You nailed this and the post processing is right on.The matte takes the eye in. Well done. |

The repeating lines of the arches combined with the detail in the concrete make an eye catching image. For me, the B&W has a more abstract quality but either one works. |

The backlighting and depth of field from the phone really work here. I tried cropping the bush on the far left and that repositioned the main cactus more to the left and gave a better balance to the image. Or you could try cloning out that bush on the left which works for me also. The image conveys a wonderful feeling for the desert at that moment. |
