1 Dec 21 Comment If the smoke from the pot was whiter I think the image would have more impact. Still, even now. it is a compelling shot and tells the story well. Dec 18th
1 Dec 21 Comment The mountain doesn't show well at first. While the B&W is better in that regard, the crop Neal shows cuts off the mountain. So I'd do with the original frame but use a B&W conversion. Dec 18th
1 Dec 21 Comment Good crop and a dramatic result. I think you've done about all that can be done here.

Happy Holidays back to all of you.

1 Dec 21 Comment There is a curve in the neck and head which is mimicked by the curve in the body. For me that adds impact to a fine image, in any case. Getting detail in the feathers is always a challenge. When the situation allows, I under expose to try and accomplish this. Dec 18th
1 Dec 21 Comment Yummy!Good work. I wonder why the very low ISO? With full frame it really wasn't necessary. Was a tripod used? Dec 18th
1 Dec 21 Comment The way you isolated the main bike from the others , by using a vignette, I suppose, worked really well. That he's up front and larger than the others helps too. Good pan. Did you have many others? Dec 18th

51 Dec 21 Comment That bridge cuts through at a good angle. The wet, cloudy day brings saturated colors. While a bit busy, there is a center of interest in the arch under the bridge. So I might vignette around that to bring the eye in.

51 Dec 21 Comment FYI, saw a post full of these locks in St. Petersberg, Russia a couple of years ago.Your image tells the story well. Does your phone have a portrait setting? It might be useful to think of that when you want to blur a background. Dec 18th
51 Dec 21 Comment This is so sharp from edge to edge. Well done. The center is a bit lighter which helps bring the eye into the frame. I am also using Lightroom and PS mobile apps and find they are adding more tools all the time. Dec 18th
51 Dec 21 Comment This is such a great sky I thought maybe the grass wasn't needed at all. So here's a version with cropped bottom and darkened sky. Dec 18th
51 Dec 21 Comment Quite a process to get this all to happen. I admire your creativity and problem solving techniques to bring all this about. Is the bottom part, the reflection, such a darker image that the top because it's reflecting in a black surface? Dec 18th
51 Dec 21 Comment It's such a stark contrast between the "flame" and the rest of the image that it really gets your attention. Good eye on your part to see it and then process to bring it all out. Dec 18th
