The total symmetry of the top 2/3 of the frame contrasts will with the total lack of symmetry of the bottom 1/3. Then there's the human element contrasting with the architectural. Well done. |

The sky Is plain but it sure helps bring attention to the cleat and birds which are interesting because of the open wing on one.In a perfect world, I'd remove the chain on the left and perhaps the rope as well. |

The bridge is about perfect and I like the matching blues of the sky and water. The lower left is too bright for me so if left in, it could be toned down some. |

Texture, color, lines. It's all there. That line in the sand above the track would make an ideal point at which to male a selection of the rocks and waves. Then I would further blur and darken that part which seems a distraction to me. |

I agree with taking some off the left. The insect's great colors really standout in front of the greens. |

The line of trees is interesting to me and they make the only vertical lines in the image. The brown foreground seems filled with horizontals, even the sky is sort of horizontal. Dennis, maybe I'm trying to hard. Those trees, almost silhouetted are fine. |

Eagle eye Dennis couldn't find the words in the larger section of the mural. Now I can't either and I went back to the original folder of images. So you'll have to trust me and just accept the concept that somewhere in this huge mural were those two words "No Masks". Sorry for the confusion. |

The line and angle of the light yellow and dark green is splendid. I took about half the sky off when playing in those fields and I think it worked better. |

Great find on the boy and sign. Grungy alley contrasts with message in poster which makes the image work. There is a lot of dumpster there...maybe crop to the start of the numbers and remove the white spot on the edge. |

Jerry makes a good point about using Painteresque only on the background. I think here it's use on the bug took away useful detail. Good placement in the frame. Can you remember this for the next swarm? |

Those rocks are pretty sharp for a Live View hand held shot and the water is spot on. Is Stacks an app? Thanks for the detailed explanation. |

There's a nice reflective mood in this. Normally we would try for a straight horizon, especially with water, however all "rules" are meant to be broken and you could make a case for leaving it as is. I would tilt it even more so that the angle was clearly intentional. Her gaze is wonderful. |

You're correct about the lighting discrepancy. It seemed very subtle to me since there is no discernible shadow on the manhole cover.Still, I could have lessened the shadow on the flower. Thanks for pointing it out. |

Pamela, I did in fact, use Retouch for creating the flower layer. Then I used my pen tool for cleaning/erasing the background. When the flower was isolated, it was easy to drag it onto the other layer which was the manhole cover. If you have questions after playing in Retouch, let me know. |
