It's very Japanese Ikebana! |

It is busy but still intriguing with several points of interest. The greenery surrounds much of the image and so contains the eye in the center. |

I wish I was there to get this shot. Great impact and story. |

I like this image a lot and it's great to see a people shot from you. The overall change I'd like is to try and emphasize the face more so that the bright robes don't compete so much with it. A gradient tool from the bottom up would be good. Then lightening the shadowed area of the face and beard. That beard could be an almost white. Tone down the hot spot on the forehead. It's a fine image and should be worth the work. |

I feel like a surf boarder caught in the tunnel of a wave. The images screams WATER and to me it's purely abstract.Maybe you could play with versions that changed the contrast, blacks and whites, etc. |

This sort of lifts the spirits after the long winter. Lovely feeling. Some of the petals seem washed out which is surprising given that Helicon Focus was used. |

This works well because of the shapes and details throughout. It's good that the top onion has a different "face" than the bottom two. That little scrap of skin off to the right is a wonderful touch. |

Oops! That was a typo. Should have been B&W. |

I thought everybody's idea of going to B&W was good so here's a version of that. |

The soft, moving water is great. I find the dominating cliff, which takes up so much of the images to need more detail and lightening. Here's my quick take. |

It strikes me as a B&W penciled version which works very well, indeed. The human figure adds perspective but this image might work well even without him. |

It does have a mellow feeling to it. A slight crop off the bottom would give more of the Pano look Jerry mentioned and emphasize the lovely sky a bit more. |

Since I'm on my desk top now these suggestions may not apply for our group but I think they could be done with the apps we use. So I cropped, converted to B&R and then revealed the red in the lower layer to keep the color of the axe handle.Just another was of looking at it. |

It's purely abstract to me and pleasing as such. Near monochromatic. It would look good in a frame on a wall. |

I like the idea of creating a large B&W space around the word. That would help focus the eye on that spot even more than the blur or vignette. |
