You surely nailed that wasp. Not a blur in the wings at all. High ISO and shutter speed says a lot for the camera as well as the user. Nice going. |

I felt it needed something more. Here's one way. |

The falls, the path, the trees make a nice 3 part image which holds together pretty well. I think the water tells me it should be horizontal which would affect the entire image after it was adjusted. I played with that in PS and while there darkened the sky. |

What might be an interesting image of crabapple in any case is made all the better by the several drop of water at each level of the picture. The framing works well and the background colors are very consistent with the subject. |

This image is NOT boring. It jumps right off the screen and is quite dramatic. Well done.
I'm curious as to its end use? |

I like this just the way it is. Low angle was a good idea and I'm jealous to learn that you are able to get low and then get up! |

What a difference between images! The flowers pop beautifully and the background is nicely subdued. Could you tone down the lower bright part of the table? It seems a distraction. |

Works well for its simplicity in design and color. Splitting the image in half, in this case, works for me. |

It also makes me think of "The Yellow Brick Road". Thanks for showing the original. It helps to understand what your processing has accomplished.
Just went to read the other comments. Usually I read them after I make my own comments so as to not let the others influence me. In this case we seem to all be in complete agreement about what the image meant to us. |

Yikes! You have so many tools, both in hardware and software at your disposal it is awesome to read about how you get to this end result. Thanks for educating us and nursing us along to better creative works.
This image conveys exactly what you've described...magic and mystery. |

The silhouette against the sky makes the image pop nicely. So that becomes the focal point of the image. If you did bring out more detail in the base of the plants the eye might wander there instead. |
