It's just about perfect. The placement in the frame with ideal bokah. The great colors on the bird pop out in front of the green background. Nice going. |

It shows such great detail that I want to spend time on it. Your f/11 worked well and I don't think increasing the f stop would make a difference at that distance. Most impressive though is your hike. |

Dennis makes a good point about cropping the sky. That would bring the eye to the water which is the main point of interest, I think. It was good to have a camera in your pocket that day. |

The contrasting colors make for great impact but I agree the outer ares of the frame could be toned down. I do see your vignette which is good but I'd try to bring in the darker area more. |

That surely tells the story well. Great impact. Hate to be too picky but did you notice there are two lines about half way down the line all the way to the bucket? |

The story you tell goes so well with the image. Maybe you could try a screen adaption for film? Nice capture. Did you use a tripod? |

Hi Bev,
Nice to hear from you. The background is a bit distracting but for me it seemed to have a flowery feel that was consistent with the flower in the cup. Personal choice I suppose.
By the way, what to did you use to make such a great selection of the cup? And what gradient?
Thanks. |

An artistic touch to an artist at work. Very fitting. Is this Painteresque at full strength or did you back it off a little. Anyway, it all worked well. |

Excellent composition. The man, boat and water mark on the sand hold the image together . The horizon is well placed. The curve of the fishing rod is a small but interesting detail. |

I like the way my eye wants to run down the entire length of the train. The overhead wires perhaps could come out? I also have issues with resizing and sometimes I do it in PS. Hope that's not cheating but until an app makes it easy and predictable,I see no other way. |

The diagonal lines of the bug help bring the eyes to its eyes. In a perfect world it might be sharper but this image still has good impact. |

The way you've vignetted the entire image except for the one larger plant in the center really helps draw the eye to that spot. Otherwise I think there would be no obvious place for the eye to settle. Great sharpness all over. |

Hay bales are favorites of mine and I like this one too. The bales on the left nicely balance the bright sun on the right |
