1 Sep 20 Comment The image does say "busy" so I think you succeeded. It could be almost any modern city in the world. I might like to see the two in the center sharp to draw my eye into the image. Sep 13th
1 Sep 20 Comment I like the position of the birds but that would still apply if you cropped at least the top third where the darkest part is. That the birds have the only color in the image makes them stand out nicely. So good processing on your part. Sep 13th

1 Sep 20 Comment My first takes was that this was surely an image from Neal Thompson. I'm okay with the out of focus parts. The mind knows what's there and the face is accentuated by being the only sharp part. Good capture. Sep 13th
1 Sep 20 Reply Yes, that is a blue stroke. I wanted to use something that separated it from the black backgrounds we get. Since Sand is found by the beach, blue seemed reasonable. Perhaps a different color would work better. Sep 6th

51 Sep 20 Comment Interesting story behind the image. Thank you for that. There must be many good images around that boat if one could get close or use a tele lens. You might be able to cut off the pier completely, along with the rock. The ship is so interesting. Sep 13th

51 Sep 20 Comment Lots of images this month of leading lines into the frames. Was there an e-mail suggesting this? This one work well and the wetness of the trail in the center raise the image several notches. Nice and sharp throughout. Sep 13th
