I like the tighter crop, Dennis. On your sample though I'd lighten the trees, especially that main large one. Thanks. |

So excellent a capture. The most interesting is clearly at the bottom so doing several things to aid the viewer in seeing that would be helpful. Cropping if the file size allows, increasing contrast, etc.
Whoops! I just took another look and now I feel the branch at the top makes a fine frame so I'd leave it. |

Nice warm light and still pretty fine detail on the feathers. The bars and canister don't seem to add much and so could be out. I wonder what that white streak in the lower left is? |

It's a lovely flower. The white could be a bit brighter which could help the water drops show a little better. Maybe more contrast or a small amount with Clarity would do that as well. |

The bird's dinner elevates the image way above a "normal" bird on a branch image. The catch light in the eye is great. So good for you in catching it. Neal's comment about the branch works for me too but it's a tough cloning job that probably would include some leaves as well. |

It's lovely in many ways and the framing is perfect. I find the image is split between the two flowers, a problem made a bit more intense by the brown diagonal leaf. Still, when looked at as a whole, I like it. |

It has a painterly feeling to me with pleasing Southwestern colors. The horizon and slight silhouette of the mountains is interesting. I tried a version where the top third was cropped and it worked as well, I think. |

You make me want to get out! Tired of looking for close ups, flowers and bugs. Your image has this great warmth in the foreground but cool gray skies in the back. I think this sets up a sort of tension in the image which draws the viewer in. |

It has several very interesting elements that make it work as a whole. The tiny boat where the rainbow ends, the tipped stand, the interesting sky. The horizon is not level and could be corrected. |

The bridge , with its color, ties the left and right side of the image together. So that's where the eye wants to be. Cropping some off the water would help that. I like the repeating lines of the bridge, the stacks and the windows of the building. |

The image is much improved with your processing. The details in the butterfly wings came out well. Try dialing back the Painteresque effect and see if you like it as well. There are some settings in there that allow a custom mode but it takes some fiddling around to get it where you want it. |

Love the tack sharpness and the cropping seems to have darkened the outer edges, leaving a bright, and larger flower, in center. It has a nice pattern which you could turn into a wallpaper and reuse sometime. |

That starburst changes the image from ordinary to special. Good for you for seeing it.Perhaps the sky could be darker? |

I'm using an iphone 10 now. My crop did damage the sharpness some so that was a compromise. BTW, have any of you checked out the camera that seems to be coming on the soon to be released model 12? Very interesting. |

I thought at first The Sentinel might be a good title. |
