Lovely! A few inches off the branch on the right would bring the birds more into the frame but still leave them off center with plenty of space around them. That's a great capture. |

Monochromatic, nothing sharp, not a spot for the eye to rest....but still for me it's pleasing to spend time working through the mountain range. It's abstract in a way. I wonder what your intent was with this? |

The eye is so important in this image that I think I'd lighten it some and add a touch of color. The white head of the bird stands out well. Was there more room in front? Poor thing seems a bit jammed in there. |

The image made me chuckle....who are they talking to? The birds are fine. I would increase the Red saturation (easy to do in this case since only the heads are red). The water is too bright, as the others mention..maybe you could vignette the image but back off on it for the bottom half. Here's my quick take..just two things were done. Set the black point and increase reds on the birds heads. You may not agree. |

Having only that spot of color makes the flower really pop out. I like how you've handled the gray tones leaving the face and shoulders brighter than the rest of the image. The boy's expression is one of suspicion and it holds the eye well. I wish that ray of light coming through his head could be a little less intrusive. |

This is a great demonstration of what one can do with a totally plain image. Accentuating those highlights on the sand and gravel in the foreground was helpful. I don't know Luminar so tell me if you are in PS when using it and are you using the usual tools to make the selection on the trees? |

Thanks for visiting, Stephen. I've always liked the outdoor Farmer's Markets for this reason. Lots of "jumbles"! I like your color image a bit better although I wonder what the ability to play with Channels would do to your image today? Make the reds and greens pop a bit. |

Minimal processing. Setting black point and reducing some highlights. |

My first take was that the beautifully framed mountain was competing a lot with the rest of the image. While it may not have been your first intent, the revised image, with blurred sky keeps the mountain in sharper focus. Thanks for showing the two versions. |

The deer almost blends into the trees so it's amazing you could see it. It does have that "I'm curious" look. I assume there is quite a bit of enlargement since it would have scampered off if you were that close. So holding the detail in the fur shows off the camera well. |

I like it a lot and think the reflection adds to the impact. Usually reflections are a bit darker so you could easily accomplish that. The waterway curves so nicely into the image. The fact that there are really only 3 colors keeps what could have been confusing simpler. |

The image presents many interesting curves, textures and tones.Vignetting, especially in the lower right could work well. Here's a bit of copy lifted from Google regarding edibility.
Chanterelle is the common name of several species of fungi in the genera Cantharellus, Craterellus, Gomphus, and Polyozellus. They are among the most popular of wild edible mushrooms. They are orange,

Adding the light made a huge difference. Good for you to know how to do this on the phone. Perfect scenic image ready for calendar use. |

When I'm last to make my comments to the group I do so without reading the comments from others so as to not have my thoughts colored. Then, after I've put my thoughts down, I read the other comments. How do you all handle this?
You've made a dramatic image from what could have been a very ordinary shot.Small point...could the green of cactus be a wee bit brighter? While the sunset is interesting it competes some with the curving limb of the plant. |
