Good dramatic B&W scene with curving lines leading into the frame. I find a sort of disconnect between the sky and the water. If the sky is that dark and stormy shouldn't the water reflect some of that as well? A crop at the top to reduce the splitting of the image would be a good idea. |

It's a fine record shot with lots of information to back it up.Pleasing tones make it easy to look at and to study. |

The lines and the sharpness and depth make an interesting image. I'm hoping to find a place for my eye to settle but it sort of keeps getting lost in the confusion of the lines. When I step back and look at it as an abstract it works better. |

That's a great find and execution. The single red eye is compelling. I saw the mouth was full and didn't see the rat at the bottom until I looked closely. The image tells a story. Nice going! |

Great depth and very pleasing colors. I'm not sure the two trees work together as the main subject. Is that horizon level? |

I'm last to comment this month but I also join the underwater group. Anyway, there is lots to see here in the way of shapes, colors and patterns. The close up or macro world has a lot to offer. |

This works for me. On one hand it's sort of abstract but on the other it's clearly a trailer or bus. Even though the image is split into horizontal thirds it still hangs together thanks to a similarity in colors and the two strong vertical lines along the sides. |

I'm still looking! Must be that speck just off center to the right. It requires careful study to see the bird so it's a rather remarkable image. Maybe it could be used in some sort of eyeball/brain test. |

Sherlock Holmes with hat and pipe walking there would make it perfect! I'd love to see the original. Your series of this sort of image would make a fine collection of framed images to hang on a wall. Nice work. |

I thought I liked the purple one until I enlarged the original and found it more pleasing. Either way, it's instructional to learn how you did it. Many thanks. |

HI Jerry, hope you are on the mend. How can you take a photo of your own head? Or was it your head? Anyway, the scalp and hair make it unusual. Good capture. |

Dramatic, indeed. There is a kind of balance between the ship and the pier/lighthouse which works for me. Right now the sky overwhelms everything so I would play with darkening it. Perhaps lightening the pier some too? |
