Very dramatic. I agree with Neal about the balloon. At first I thought is was inserted but if you removed the fringing it might appear more natural. It could also be moved if you wanted to spend the time doing it. I think it's a simple selection. |

Since the main interest is from just above the sun on down to the bottom, I think cropping the top to where the clouds start would add drama to the image. Maybe the posts on the left could come out as they compete with other elements. Aren't those phone cameras great! |

Fine gray tones with good texture in the fields.Right now the major eye appeal is in the sky and I think some brightening in the lower half would help the balance. |

I can almost feel the softness of this plant. A slight vignette to help keep the eye in the center could be helpful. I also wish the center was as sharp as the edges. Good idea to make it B&W. |

Pretty perfect even though the title seems to make little sense because the birds are invisible. But everything else works well. Great sky and the sun is well positioned. A small nit pick might be to remove the phone poles and wires in the lower left. |

It's sort of interesting but I have no clue what it is. I thought it was a metal piece until I read your description. Given that, it seems a good capture in a difficult situation. |

I like the color a bit more but I might also try a sepia toned image. Couldn't we make two layers, one B&W and one color and then remove the hat in the B&W top layer to reveal the red? That would give a red hat in a B&W image (I think!). Maybe I'm confusing my apps but I think I've done something like that. |

B&W works for me too. The color seems mundane by comparison. The way the eye goes into and down the image makes it all work. |

Warm colors and nice textures. I appreciate how the Distressed FX treatment didn't go overboard on the processing...just right. |

You always come up with these great, delicate, blended images. This was a fine occasion for another one. Thanks. |

The colors and the way the image bleeds off into the black is very dramatic. The drop and starburst are great. So well done. How close were you and did crop in post? |

Pretty perfect in all ways. Great processing. All the more impressive when you look at the original. |
