1 Aug 17 Comment That's a history lesson in wood! Great title. Without your explanation I'm not sure I would have appreciated what I was looking at so much. Aug 13th
1 Aug 17 Comment It's a beautiful shape which shows very well against the black background. Question for Dennis; is photographing art acceptable for our group? It might be that converting to B&W helps it pass muster? Aug 13th
1 Aug 17 Comment This is so fine, I think. The muted tones of the shade work well in conveying the old time feeling of the other elements.I'm not sure what it looked like when you found it, but in this instance, it all comes together very well. Aug 13th
1 Aug 17 Comment Amazing technical accomplishment. The "creature" is one I'd rather not meet other than in a monster movie. The simple background works well to amplify the insect. Aug 13th
1 Aug 17 Comment Great eye to see this. The single broken pane catches your attention and the pointy, angular bottom of the glass adds a dynamic element. I wonder if you could punch up the colors some. On my screen it seems sort of flat. Aug 13th

51 Aug 17 Comment Rather somber image and the B&W adds to that feeling. Also, since it's WWI, lack of color seems appropriate. Good execution all around. Aug 13th
51 Aug 17 Comment The men are so unusual that at first I chuckled at the image.I wish they were a larger part of the frame. Maybe something like this? That way the colors of the mural on the left don't fight with the men. Aug 13th
51 Aug 17 Comment An abstract but one in which you know what the elements are. The slight angle to the stripes adds some energy to the image. I like the asymmetrical balance to the frame. Aug 13th
51 Aug 17 Comment There is so much to study there and then you realize how well it all comes together. The muted tones with just the slightest touch of red work well. The tiled areas add a nice texture. Very creative effort. Aug 13th
51 Aug 17 Comment Good to learn about SKRWT. The mural looks to be a pretty accurate version of what you actually saw. Can't ask for more than that! Aug 13th
