The bright yellows at the bottom of the vineyard pick up the same color of the hillside and for me that helps the image come together. There is great detail throughout. The contrast of the sunny spots versus the stormy clouds adds interest. |

David, I'm having trouble with this one. I don't see the glove unless I look real hard. Also, the whites are muddy and the image seems to need contrast or some sort of better post processing. |

The formatting and conversion to B&W work well and the image has an ethereal feel. I wish the trees in the center were not so visibly fainter than the others. The line of earth the trees are in could be bolder along the entire width of the frame.I think this might give the eye a better reference point.

Good exposure and the soft light works well. The flower seems to float in its space. It would require some careful work, but I would like to see the green dripping blades in the upper left removed. They add nothing and are a distraction. |

A good example of how post processing can male/save an image. The cropping and flipping worked well and the image tells a fine story. Thanks to the diagonal stick, the eye follows from the boats to the happy boy's faces. Nice work. |

I like the confusion. Can't tell which head goes where. Slight vignette will help as would pulling out some detail in eyes, if you can find any. Good eye to catch this. |

I think there is only one choice of graffiti, however, since it's a rather wide image, I think one could use sections and make several versions of it. |

Peaceful scene and the water has a great pattern. I think you could darken the sky, at least the top half of it. |

Good post processing and fine diagonal lines into the frame. How'd you get the birds to pose that way? I might experiment with less sky just to see how it looks. |

That's dramatic, indeed. Works as a B&W too. Thanks for the tip on Blackie. |

The repeating pattern of the waves and the squiggle of the wet sand is what holds my initial interest. Those lines lead you down to the city which has a sort of sci-fi look. That lead to an interesting story about why the two humans are going there. Is the horizon a bit slanted? |

I wish I'd taken that picture! The contrast of the sharp boy against the blur of the ride is superb and shows how patience pays when we see a photo in our minds. Good job! |

I agree with everybody about that warm light. It has a friendly, sort of Saturday Evening Post look about it (have I dated myself?). The diagonal line of the bridge crossing the river adds just enough "action" to keeps one's interest. |
