Hi Sharon,
For a long time I had trouble with scanning Kodachromes but have found a great improvement with my equipment. I bought an used Epson Perfection 4870 flatbed scanner. It was not expensive. Using VueScan x 64 software completed the picture.
The software is exceptional.

Unique perspective on an unusual subject. I'm sure the subject was just as you portrayed it but I'd add a little more vibrancy to the rather bland but interesting colors. |

Interesting subjects, particularly with the right fawn looking over its shoulder. The light across the photo helps make the capture focus on the deer. I'd agree with Dennis and crop it moderately so that the main subject is not lost. |

Nice subject with good composition. I might fill in the top right corner so that it is not distracting. Also lighten the the shoreline and the island on the left side. The rope adds interest to the image. |

Nice capture of interesting subject. there are colors in the head of the insect which could be brought out better with some dodging. Great background with good color contrast to the dragon fly. |

I agree, the angle adds to the photo. Yes, the plate is necessary and altho we do not see any screws to hold it in place, there is a shadow on the right side that makes it appear real. Is It just added? |

It appears that the elephant is sad that his trunk is deflated.
Amusing photo well captured. Colors sharpness, and interest if good. Cold have a larger border. |
