1 Dec 23 Comment This is well done technically and with good composition. It doesn't have much impact. Is the ocean level? Dec 7th
1 Dec 23 Comment The use of monochrome is well selected. The shadow gives depth. The vase is a great one for this image. The base being white works well but is difficult to explain. Dec 7th
1 Dec 23 Comment Stunning image well done, especially the composition. The lighting is good. The stream really adds a lot, especially with the ripples in the water. Could they be made a bit whiter? Dec 7th
1 Dec 23 Comment I would never have guessed that you could get the presented image from the original. Unique abstract. I would suggest that the contrast between the front and back of the image is a bit excessive. Also I would like to see the right side's wing.
Pretty unusual subject.

63 Dec 23 Reply Thanks for those suggestions. Your version certainly helps a lot, particularly getting rid of some of the material in the foreground. I like your evaluations of others in the group also. Little changes can make a lot of improvement. Dec 7th
63 Dec 23 Comment Nice setup of flowers and vase. The background could be darker to make the flowers stand out more. Increasing the density of shadows would also help this. It was sharp and the positioning of the flowers is nice. Dec 7th
63 Dec 23 Comment Great subject, composition and technique. I agree with what Charles did with the photograph. It's amazing what a little change can do to help, even a great photo such as this. Dec 7th
63 Dec 23 Comment The change from the original is remarkable. The water really enhances the image. The only suggestion is that the top two petals might be decreased red color to give them more depth. Dec 7th
63 Dec 23 Comment Colorful orange leaves surround the stones. I would favor not having such a straight down perspective. Perhaps a bit more sharpening. The combination of leaves and stones presents an interesting subject. Dec 7th
63 Dec 23 Comment Colorful, sharp and interesting image. Nice unusual perspective. Background works well. Don't have any suggestions for improvement. Dec 7th
