1 Aug 23 Comment What a pretty area of Washington. There is good color variability. The lake could be lightened so it might show up better. I, like you, find the North Cascades a great area to hike. Ptarmigan Traverse is a great hike of 36 miles. Aug 9th

1 Aug 23 Comment I'm not a fan of this image. It's busy; there is a wide area of unimpressive sky. The flower is nice but could be lightened in the center. I don't understand the fencing or the wires. Sorry, not your best. Aug 9th

1 Aug 23 Comment What a nice action shot. Tells of an interesting situation. I was a bit surprised that you used f/4 and a low iso. At rodeos I usually suggest iso of 1600 and an f/ 8 and above. Your shutter speed of 1/800 should be sufficient for the action. The signs are in focus but the animal is not. A higher f stop would give a greater DOF. I usually put the camera focus area on "spot". The crowd in back really adds a lot to this photo. The faces could be lighten a bit. Aug 9th

63 Aug 23 Comment Great color contrast. Sharp focus. It looks a bit flat because the peppers in front are the same size as those in the back. I wonder if it might change at bit if it were horizontal. Aug 9th

63 Aug 23 Comment What a great presentation of the plant. The contrast of the green and background out of focus blocks really works. The drop off of yellow color in the upper background also gives depth to the photo. Aug 9th
