Another one of your great street scenes is really impactful. I wish I could see more of the table in the lower left. The image is sharp throughout, colorful, and the faces that are facing the camera add a lot to include the viewer in the image. I could spend a long time just watching the scene. |

Nice artwork on the barricade. I would like to see the whole painting on the right of the image. The window with its red polls is an essential part of the image as it allows you to use the building in the background. The blue on the barricade is
mimicked in the sky on the left. Good composition. |

Hi Sharon, What an interesting capture. The figure at the bottom of the stairway along with the shadows really makes this image.
I would darken the foliage on the left of the stairway and eliminate the shoreline on the other side of the river as ways to accentuate the important person. |

Interesting capture. I think it might be cropped a bit tighter. I like the idea of having a bold frame. It appears that the lamps are in a fog and so that feeling might be enhanced by slightly darkening the bottom half of the sun. Simplicity wins out again. |

Nice image, sharp, good impact. The water is rather bland and its depth could be enhanced by darkening the distal background. Vignetting might also be tried. |

At first when I saw the image before I read the title, I thought that it was a composite with a stairway leading to the side of the building background. It's a good capture, interesting, with good composition, and technique. The top bank of windows could be eliminated to enhance the height of the steeple. |

Barbara, I don't have a lot to add and I really like this image. I wouldn't change the background, the color is perfect. I like the water droplets. They add a lot to the image. Sorry to be late in critique. |

Sorry to be so late in presenting comments. Colorful is an understatement. It's almost "garish" to the point of disturbance to the eye. Interesting subject well presented. |

Thanks for your clear explanation on how you did the image. It is technically beautiful. I might suggest lightening the density of the lower flower to make it more visible. |

Hi Alane, Sorry to be so late in commenting on your image. What an interesting subject. I don't have much to add to the commentary already stated. I not only like th subject but also the stroke which is nicely applied. |

Welcome to the group Barbara,
What a beautiful image and plant. You did very well in presentation. I might consider darkening the shadows a bit in order to give the image more depth.
