Great color combination including the background. The image is a bit static. I wonder if the base of the onion was available and that it might have been placed a bit more diagonally in the frame. The golden color of the onion could stand a bit more vibrancy and decreased density. The diagonal shadow in the background is very effective in producing depth. 		Jan 7th

Lovely flower with such a soft pink color. I like Murphy's comments. Lightening some of the whites and darkening some of the shadows might make the depth a bit more evident. 		Jan 7th

63 Jan 22 Reply Thank you Charles for your comments. The picture was taken in the studio and the background was not added but was part of the original scene. I suspect the "halo" about the spider was caused by some color dodging on the spider itself. Perhaps I was a bit aggressive in adding color. Jan 7th
