What a great image on many levels but particularly for the contrasts in subject material. Your images of late have been outstanding. |

I get the feeling that there are two subjects here. The bright one is certainly dominate. I don't mind the woodwork as a base but with two elements competing with each other it may be too much. |

Nice colors and very sharp image. No dominate subject and the business in the right upper side is distracting. Perhaps selecting the main leaf, in-versing the selection and darkening and blurring the background would change the image for the better. |

Definitely a monochrome image. The tips of the picket fence hit the peripheral skyline. I'm not sure I like that. The shadows really make the image stand out. Good capture. |

Soft image with nice fading in the periphery. The slight yellow color adds to the interest. |

Interesting scene with a lot of color. No dominate element unless the orange tree is it. Clouds are dramatic. Nice capture of an image that could well be used in a calendar. |

Thanks for the critique. I agree. The depth would be enhanced by darkening the background. I've found that the easiest way to do that is to select subject in PS, working the selection and in versing the selection and then blurring and darkening. It works well for a lot of images. |

Not sure it would be classified as an abstract but it is a very good subject with good composition, sharpness, and color contrast. |

Murphy's comments are noted and I agree. Also I would like to see a but more definition in the inner part of the cone.
Colors are nice. Remove the line in the background left lower side. Good positioning of the subject. |

I agree with Priscilla's evaluation. Colorful, unusual image.
How did you eliminate the background? In photoshop, selection of subject> inverse> and fill with foreground color? |

Sharp, good color contrast in an interesting plant. I'd like to see in the plant a bit more. The darkness of the green part of the plant has some interest and could be brought out by color dodging. Sharp and good composition. |
