What a great capture. The main subject is the bird feeding the chicks and this needs to be emphasized. By cropping out or shortening the stick to the right of the nest would allow
you to crop out the dead space on the right. The bird has some color and emphasizing that by color painting would also increase the drama. |

Nice exposure. I'd suggest you get rid of the lower part of the photo. The pole on the left and the canister and pipe add nothing to the main subject, perhaps distract. |

Nice detail in the white. Darkening the yellow of the central part of the flower might increase the impact. The raindrops are present but do not show up well. How would we increase their visibility? |

How about adding a golf cart? Nice curving lines make the photo interesting. I might increase vibrancy some. |

This is a great capture. I'd clone out the branch coming out of the bird's head and maybe even the branch that is parallel to it on the left. I think it is sharp and nicely framed by the wood and branches. |

Feathery appearance. The foreground kinda gets lost for me and so I'd probably lighten up the yellow there. I might also darken the mountains. Minor changes to a great image. |

I really do like both the original and the creation. Adding a texture makes the image into an art form away from reality. I wish you luck in your search. There are so many subjects out in nature that make for good textures. |

Hi Barbara, welcome to the group. The sharpness of the capture really enhances its appeal. The green in the background adds to the perception of depth. I usually don't mind parts escaping the central part of a flower but in this image, I'd add the whole flower. |

Hi Murphy, What an interesting collection of unusual flowers.
Colorful with variation. A lower perspective on the subject
might have enhanced the rather unique shape of the flowers. This would be an ideal subject for stacking by capturing several focus levels. |

What great colors. I agree with Murphy's comments. Nice magnification of a part of the insect world not often seen. The image seems a bit constricted. |

Welcome Lorna,
You have a lot of comments already and I don't have much to add BUT would not agree that the whole flower is desired.
The main subject are the stamens and their shape and color.
Depth into the flower is brought out wonderfully by the out of focus red pedal bisecting the yellow. Nice. |

Lou, I appreciated your comments. A different format does seem to be warranted. |
