Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
1 Oct 19 Comment You go to the most interesting places and get great images. I do like Stephen's corrections. Good color and sharpness. Oct 15th
1 Oct 19 Comment Interesting sky with a lot of action but I don't think it is enough to carry the image without something else such as a
light area in the water or a localized shower coming down from a part of the dark clouds.

1 Oct 19 Comment Unusual capture with a lot of detail in the filamentous plants.
Nice color contrast and sharp throughout. The scene is soft and the lack of a dominant localized subject is not a problem in this scene.

1 Oct 19 Comment Nice capture. The background might have been a bit more blurred. What would it look like if you had added some red color to the eye. Oct 15th
1 Oct 19 Comment Wow, what an unusual perspective that is just perplexing enough to create a lot of interest. It is sharp and has just enough color to separate out the elements of the beak. Nice capture. Oct 15th
1 Oct 19 Comment Looks formidable! Along the back of the neck the image is blown out and there is a line of blue along the wing. Both of those could probably be corrected in PS. It is very sharp and
the eyes are piercing and attention getting. Nice capture.

63 Oct 19 Reply Thanks for joining our group. I'll be anxious to see your images. I used Method B (depth map). I haven't worked much with the other rendering methods. Oct 20th
63 Oct 19 Reply As often realized after I submit an image, I didn't see the dark blue halo until you mentioned it. Thanks Oct 20th
63 Oct 19 Comment Nice basic composition but cutting off the three pedals at the top and right side bother a bit. I'd like to see more definition in the pedals, perhaps by increasing vibrancy, using a tripod or increasing the shutter speed. It's a great subject. Oct 8th
63 Oct 19 Comment The image reminds me of a face and that attracts attention. It has quite a bit of contrast, perhaps too much. There are spots throughout the image that could be removed. The background might be darkened to accentuate the flower. Oct 8th
63 Oct 19 Comment Interesting display of unusual plant. I like your attention to the background, done well. Perhaps it is only my monitor but I would like to see the plant lightened up a bit in its darkest areas. You've toned down the highlights very nicely. Oct 8th
63 Oct 19 Comment What a beautiful capture. The butterfly is sharp throughout and as you mentioned, that is not always easy to achieve. I might darken the background a bit, perhaps a bit of vignetting. Oct 8th
63 Oct 19 Comment Wow, I really like this. The bright red colors, the curved main subject and the balance of the leaves and the right left giving some depth to the image. No suggestions for improvement in addition to Lisa's. Oct 8th
