Impressive image. Decreasing the saturation a bit would help the image. Perhaps slightly over sharpened. |

You and I were thinking in the same vein. I didn't see your image prior to submitting mine. The flowers add a lot with great depth of focus. |

What a peaceful scene. Fog adds a lot to the image. I'd remove the stick as others have mentioned. |

Agree about the absent feet but it is still an imposing image
of an unusual bird. Color makes the image, particularly about the head. Chunky bird! |

Joey, that is beautiful. Although there is nothing required to make it different, dodge painting with an orange color for the brown trees might increase the impact. |

Well done image but the main subject, if it is the hand,
is slightly out of focus. There is some distortion with the hand appearing too large. |

More information? Light source are two lamps placed outside a tent that has a black background. The subject is, of course,
a mounted specimen on an insect pin. The presence of the pin is removed in Photoshop. The camera movement forward is controlled and automatic with the WeMacro rail. You can determine distance of each exposure and the camera is fired automatically. The many exposures are all brought into the
focus stacking program at one time, and processed. The total time is less than 10 minutes from start of exposure to the end processing. More time is required for Photoshop work.

The cat's face and expression is great. Is the image rotated slightly counterclockwise? "I'm the boss!" |

I think you did well with this image. There is good depth and the central part of the flower is interesting. For lovers of the color red, perfect. |

What a nice image. Great color contrast. Might have cropped the left side a bit as that adds little to the image. This is the type of subject that would require a lot of images. |

What a great capture. The right side of the caterpillar was
slightly out of focus. I wonder if you had increased the aperture some it might have helped. Nice contrasting colors. Good work. |

Great colors but I wish there was some deviation that would serve as a main subject. I get the impression of depth almost as if you were looking across a plain. A higher f stop would
have increased the depth of focus. |
