Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
1 Apr 19 Comment Great color and lighting, particularly the light colors highlighting the distance. I might crop some off the left side but not nearly as much as David did. Apr 16th
1 Apr 19 Comment It is sort of an ethereal image, perhaps in the fog? The top of tower is a merge with the frame edge and that could be corrected easily. I write this comment after the burning of the cathedral, now predominately in the news about Paris. Apr 16th
1 Apr 19 Comment That is really sharp for a 600 mm image, even the cracks in the window frame show up. Unusual subject with a hint of mystery
created when you eliminated some of the sculpture.

1 Apr 19 Comment Classic view, done well. I agree that the shadows might be opened a bit and the sand bar lighter. Apr 16th
1 Apr 19 Comment Here's looking at you! Wow, so sharp and much more detail than most shots of this subject. You might try to lighten up the conjunctiva to the left of the iris. I suspect that you don't have a gray area in that part of your eye. I'm impressed. Apr 16th

63 Apr 19 Comment Nice presentation of a difficult subject. I'd try to vignette
some and crop slightly on the right side to balance both sides
of the image. The soft lighting works well with the image.

63 Apr 19 Comment Nice even lighting, great focus, and there is some depth in the gears. Apr 16th
63 Apr 19 Comment Good capture and great focus at f 16. The bright area near the base of the flower is distracting and needs elimination as does the two white areas on the stem. The background is perfect. Nice work. Apr 16th
63 Apr 19 Comment Great capture under harsh conditions. Yes, a diffused light source might have improved the image. The vein structure in the wings is spectacular. The vertical positioning detracts
from the composition a little. I'm amazed that you were able to get this much information from the underexposed original.

63 Apr 19 Comment Very interesting subject and the first that I've seen with in camera focus stacking. It is so very well done with a nice
background. The posing of the subject allows great depth.

63 Apr 19 Comment Nice lighting and color. The top root (?) merges with the top of the image and I'd correct that maybe even by erasing a bit of it. Slight fringing on the left side of the carrot. Very
interesting subject.
