Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
1 Aug 18 Comment Well....maybe not that much. I like the fie ripples in the water both in the foreground and in front of the dark part of the island. I wonder if they could be accentuated to give it
more depth.

1 Aug 18 Comment Nice perspective. I like the back lighting to the couple but find the rest of the people int he image distracting. I wonder if they could be PS'd out, especially the half man. Aug 7th
1 Aug 18 Comment I agree with Kathryn concerning size. Unique perspective and the combining of both images into one frame is perfect. Aug 7th
1 Aug 18 Comment Lines into the distance. The more you look at the image, the more levels and lines are seen. I like the guy in the image, it adds a lot size comparison. Aug 7th
1 Aug 18 Reply No, it's not true to the horizon. Since it is a river and we are looking at the side of the boat with a wake behind it, I
didn't think it would be true to make it more level.

1 Aug 18 Comment That's a lot of work. I like the fact that the balloon is against rather bland sky. It shows up much better. The darkness on the opposite side of the image balances the darkness of the balloon. Aug 7th

63 Aug 18 Comment Welcome to the group from another "newby". Interesting flower.
Not quite as sharp as I would like to see it and would like to see the stamens at the top.

63 Aug 18 Comment It almost appears that you could reach into the image and touch the gear. What a beautiful example of lighting augmenting the depth of a two dimensional image. I'm impressed. Aug 31st
63 Aug 18 Comment Sorry to be late in presenting a comment. Vacation last two weeks. Extremely sharp, nice contrasting colors. Position of leaves accentuates the patterns. Caused by Japanese Beatles? Aug 31st
63 Aug 18 Reply Lisa, your suggestions are well received. Thanks. Sometimes
we just don't see the obvious. Neal

63 Aug 18 Comment I like the idea of the image being vignetted but since the feather itself is curved, you might consider using a different vignette. The white background is a bit dominate. What if the whiteness was replaced with a different color of very low
saturation, say blue.

63 Aug 18 Comment I'd like to see a bit more contrast; I wonder if you lost some from the back lighting? Very interesting perspective and the lines created by the peddles help make the image interesting. Aug 7th
63 Aug 18 Comment What nice colors and composition. I really would like to see
about three more "buds" on the left but then I can't tell if
they were actually there. What an array of colors. Very nice. I would have guessed that you took this indoors but not so. Did you have to eliminate a lot of the background behind the stem of flowers?
