I am really fascinated by this image even though it seems to have two subjects. I keep looking at that motor and wondering if that was the power to the boat behind the woman. It seems very big for that job. I do like everything about the woman and she could stand alone without that motor. |

Your description really helps. I probably would have missed the connection to Mexico. You caught this at the right time when the yard was fuller and blocking the view of the engine. |

The white heron framed by the black of the patio door is well placed to show off the unusual activity in the composition. |

I do like the still life that you found. I do agree about the background. You might try a slight dark vignette to help keep the viewer's eye on the subject. |

I think that your combination of images work very well. The ghosting behind the first ridge of mountains do help set them off from those behind it. You might have tried not to have it so obvious behind the tree all the way down the trunk. |
