I like the way that the red cloth on the table contrast with the man's shirt. I might suggest cropping off the items on the left side. It might make for a better position for your subject in the image. He would be leading the eye back into the image since he his looking toward the center. |

I agree with removing the top cloud. The clouds are impressive but I think that they need something to draw more interest to them. I might even consider cropping the panorama to increase the size of the main buildings, and maybe waiting a few minutes until it was more centered over the cloud. It is impressive to me either way. |

I like the placement of the "horizon" line with the kayaker placed in the bottom third of the image. Normally, you might want to leave room for your subject to move into but I think that this works being centered. The red color really makes the image. |

You have very good tonal value for your monochrome images. There is no clipping that could have lost detail in the high end. The back lighting brings out the spider webs that could be lost without it. |

We didn't get to this location last week but saw other ruins. I agree about not including the sky. It tends to draw my eye away from your subject. I might try cropping down from the top and side just enough to keep as much of the cliff showing the lines as possible. Maybe add a little vignette to tone down the top right corner after cropping. I do like the lighting that you had. |

I like the idea that you had. It can be difficult to match up two images with even slightly different light sources and matching up the direction of light.
Something that I might suggest would be to do some selective masking to remove the front legs so the critter would look more like it was standing among the acorns. I'm not sure if that is something it would eat or if it wouldn't to it's taste.
