It is. I am surprised how well it worked. I have done handheld with my Canon that is probably older than your Canon and used Affinity Photo to Focus Merge them and some need to be tried again. I haven't had much problem with this camera since I don't have to move the camera in and out.

I am not sure if they are processed in camera. I haven't read up on it. I have been using Affinity Photo for the stacking. I do have a focus rail but I'm lazy and just hand hold while it clicks through all 30 images. I have cut back to 20 images now. I haven't jumped to the step of just saving the resulting image and deleting all of the ones that went into making the resulting image. |

I really like the image but I too thought that it might be too dark. I thought I might try to see what it might look like a little lighter. |

I agree with everyone about losing the group on the right. This is an interesting sight. The saddles were planted in a good arrangement just waiting for you to make an interesting image. |

That is a great find. You took it from the perfect spot. I wonder if there was much distortion if just one side was seen. Great mural and well done. |

I really thought that a bird had been squished in just the right spot when I first looked at this. It was a good idea even if you weren't trying for that. You made good use of the interesting pattern of the elephant pattern. |

That's a great capture. Were you able to catch any shots before it was passing you? I agree about the background. Maybe a slight vignette would work for you. Just a thought, how about cropping off about 1/3 of the right side to make this more of a square image and getting rid of some of the body of the critter? |

I like that effect. I have trying to get a similar look at times and not been that successful. It looks like the foot of the poor fellow on the left missed being part of the Main subject. You might try blurring the background even more and see what might happen if you brightened it some.
It looks like something fun to play with. Good job. |
