A very dramatic image. It really tells a story more so than if it was just the bird without the fish. Well done.

I didn't know there was a lake in there either. It is a very dramatic image. I was having a hard time focusing on just one element. The scattering of all the white patches of snow kept drawing my eye. Maybe trying to focus in on one area could point out one particular subject. I might try doing some vignetting to try to draw my eye to the valley. |

This was outdoors. I used my normal setup of Canon 5D III with the 24-105mm. I didn't want to be loaded down with the 100-400 in the crowd. I did a lot of cropping to make up for that.

I think it is a great subject. I do agree with the other comments and wondered about adding a wide soft vignette to take care of the lighter distraction. The light leak at the curtain should also be removed. |

I'm sorry for my mistake of duplicating the original image.
I think it turned out very well, there is great sharpness throughout the image. You might do some adjusting in the Shadows to lighten the center portion of your subject. |

Good job on the exposure. I like the way that windows at the very top give the impression that it is a reflecting ball. It draws the eye viewing in the image. Something that I might have tried was to line up the top railing parallel to top border. |

It looks good. I wouldn't think that you would need that many shots with the lens stopped down that far. Maybe 15 might have been enough but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. |

I usually like to add a slight vignette. I did a burst and went to shooting .jpg instead of RAW so I could get more shots without filling the buffer while the action was still going on. |

The two running in from the sides were the ones to get him unhooked from the bull. If I really had to be one of them, I would be keeping my eyes on the bull too.
