1 Jun 23 Comment I like the contrast between the warm color of the container and the bare sky. I don't know how you could have shown what that container was without explaining it. Maybe you could have taken your life preserver and put it in it? The white gull is set off nicely again the dark poles. The vegetation adds even more interest. Jun 24th
1 Jun 23 Comment You did well on this. In a perfect world, I might have liked to see a little more detail in the background but you probably couldn't have done much to help with that since you still have some blurring in the wings. Stopping down more would have made that a distraction. Jun 23rd
1 Jun 23 Comment Good catch. I tend to have the same problem but if you had the time, a lower camera angle might have been used so you were on eye level with your subject. Jun 23rd
1 Jun 23 Comment This is an interesting ruin. I like the vegetation providing some color that wouldn't show if it were a monochrome. I do agree about the sky. It could be toned down to bring out more detail but personally, I would have changed it out unless you were using it as a Travel image. Jun 23rd
