You might play around with the selection it comes up with by modifying it slightly with a feather or enlarging or shrinking it a little. Something to do on a Dark and Stormy Night. :) |

I like how you showed all the wares that this gentleman was selling. The smoke also adds interest. I like how the can on the ground keeps that bare area on the left from being a distraction. I'm not sure about the 2 on the right. My eye keeps wandering to them. Cropping them off would also crop the table. Maybe just burning them in a little would help. Normally you might not want your subject looking out of the image but with those sitting on the fence, he could be looking for customers. |

It is a nice scene with a good composition. I might try dodging a little on the shadow at the top of the mountain. |

I really like the contrasting colors and details with the water droplets. I don't know what you might use for editing but I just recently found out that there was a Select Subject in the Quick Selection tool in Elements. I don't know if the same thing is in Photoshop or not since I no longer have it. You can add the subject selection to a new layer and then do whatever you want on the original image without any affect on the subject. It seems to do a pretty good job in finding the subject here and then you can set it off from those blooms around it. |

What is spring? We are still waiting for any flowers to start showing up. You have good sharpness throughout the flowers and no harsh shadows causing problems. You could try adding a vignette to darken the edges. Looking at your original image, did you consider including the flower at the bottom? Darkening just the greens might have helped set that off. |

This is a good portrait and I like the golden light of sunset. If you could have caught some action in the subject, it could have drawn more attention. I know that you might have had to be there for quite a while to catch it doing anything. |

You have a good subject with an interesting expression. The spider shadow doesn't bother me that much. My eye is first distracted to the notices and signs at the top. The tones of the subject and the objects around him seem to blend together and don't draw the attention. |
