It was easy to miss since the water is tipping toward the gap in the background. I tend to do that too but I be doing better since I have grid showing in my viewfinder. |

Very nice job of isolating a single bud. They can be buried among a lot of distracting elements. The background was nicely out of focus. I was thinking that I would have liked the camera moved so the bud was leaning into the frame instead of out it but I don't think that would have worked since the larger leaf is on the right. You might try adding a little vignette to help draw attention to the bud itself and help the eye from being drawn out of the image by the light background leaves on each side.. |

I like the way that you used the trees to frame each side. I do agree with Neal's comments. A different time of day might give more dimension than the flat lighting that you have especially on the left side. |

I like this view of the Eye. I see it usually being part of the background instead of the foreground. This is the first time that I've seen exactly what it is. I think it's great. It seems like the most interesting sites are better seen looking to the left. I might try to tone down the white letter it does draw attention. I guess that is what it was meant to do so it serves it's purpose. |

It does draw your attention. To me, it doesn't look like there is much that is out of focus and that could be motion blur in the wings. Something that I might have done is to copy just the gull to another image and then worked on it. You might have sharpened that blur and other corrections there before copying it back into the original. That would have kept to tones of the beach the same instead of lightening just around the gull. |

I really like the low angle that you were able to achieve from the boat you were on. It is a beautiful sight. To go along with some other comments, I was thinking that it might have used a slight amount more exposure. The Histogram does show clipping of the Blacks.
It doesn't make as much difference in a scene like this, but it tilts down slightly to the left. I tried straightening according to the line where the water disappears, in the background, to the right. |

It looks great. I don't know how you got it to hold still while you took 20 shots of it.
One suggestion that I might have. On the leaf on the left side, there are circular marks which I suspect were from the dust removal. If that is correct, is it possible to minimize their visibility? If you used the Healing Brush, maybe reducing the diameter to just cover the dust. I don't remember but is there an adjustment for Content Aware in what you used? Maybe the Clone Tool would have been a better choice. |

I was trying to get it to look like an actual old photo but I couldn't find a way to get that scrolled edge. There must be a way to show that but I spent enough time on this the way it was.
