It was on Bear Tooth Pass in South Central Montana. I have seen the same thing happening in Northern Wyoming scenic turnouts. |

Those flat overcast days can give you the best lighting. It give you better contrast than if you had bright sun and shadows.

I agree with everyone else. I think the timing was great for the capture. I just wish that the rope didn't have to be positioned so it divided the image. |

This is an interesting find. I really like the headlight positioned in the clean windowpane. I am not sure about including the telephone pole. It is clear enough that it draws my eye away from the more interesting subject. It looks like there are enough windows to the left and top that you might have been able to use them to make this 3 panes high and 4 wide without the telephone pole and the headlight positioned to the bottom left. It might have been too difficult to position the headlight perfectly by including that many windows. It would probably have taken some transforming to include just those 12 panes. |

I think that is interesting tree bark. I think that I have only seen it once before since it isn't around here. I like the abstract of it. You might crop in closer so it was just the bark and none of the background vegetation. I just read the other's comments and I could have just said I agree with Joey. |

An odd number of items is almost always better than an even amount. I do like the position of the wings but I don't know if that is common with birds in a formation like this or not. Something I just seemed to find is birds might tend to fly towards you if you happen to be upwind. You don't show any info on the camera settings but I would like to the waves out of focus behind the birds. If this was cropped it might not have been possible to do that. To me, it seems to be over sharpened. I was going to try increasing the Bokeh with the new update to Luminar but it was too sharp for it to even work on it. |

You have done a great job to get the detail in the shadows without washing out the highlights. There does seem to be a little haloing where the sky meets the mountain on the left. Another raft coming around the bend would have been great for something to show the size of the canyon. |

Great shot. I did notice the fish but at first I thought that it was just some vegetation out of focus but it still looked too much like a fish. Did you really need to use Helicon on this one? It looks like it left a blurred artifact of the leg on the upper left. |

I always call them Chipmunks but someone said they were Columbia Ground Squirrels. I did notice that there are 2 kinds there. One is smaller with more stripes on the back and a mask around the eyes. These things don't get that frightened. It might be they just are careful that they don't get caught in someone's hand.

There are a lot of these critters there. They really know how to work the tourists coming through. I took some visitors up there for the view but especially to feed these. We took unsalted raw sunflower seeds to give them a break from Doritos.

I didn't really like the position of the bar but I didn't want to make this a panorama. You did about the best you could with your crop. Thanks. |
