The Egret is well placed in the frame. I like that it has room to move into it. The out of focus background give more interest than you would have if it were against a plain sky. It looks great to me too. |

I really don't notice a problem with the sharpness on the bird. I would like to see the head lighted a little to make the eye more visible. I would remove the out of focus line, it if doesn't cause the mast to fall. |

I do like the composition and everything else about this but I might suggest that is something that I use very seldom. That would be a polarizing filter. That could cut down on the various attention drawing hot spots. |

I really like the idea that you have. It might be a lot of work but you might try working on the lighting. It looks like the elephant is in bright sun and the rest of the scene has the nice diffused lighting. You could try to paint some shadowing under the elephant and see what you could do with the water to show disturbance that a walking elephant might cause. |

I think that the sharpness of the drops and the out of focus background work great. It does seem like it could use just a little more exposure to bring out more of the white in the image. You might try to have it positioned a little more out of the center of the frame. |

Another great example of focus stacking at it's best. It almost makes me ready to go out and look for the live critters. I never seem to really actually look for them when they are around. |

I haven't tried white poster board yet. That would be the cheapest if you got it dirty.

I just found out that Luminar will recognize grey as sky. I didn't have to start with a blue background.

Oh, I couldn't take anything out of there. It is part of my wife's home decor. If the flowers were turned right, the grass could be a frame for the flowers?

I was thinking that I should have turned the flowers to the other side but maybe it would look good to have them coming down the front beside the handle? |
