The pastel colors in the flowers and also the out of focus background work well together. I would like this even if the wasp wasn't included. I might like to see a little blur in the wings. It probably could have been done without losing the great sharpness in the body of the wasp. |

I like the way that the shadow areas work as a framing to highlight the subject. I would like to see it further into the composition to draw more attention. It must be like sleeping on the beach. |

The various shades of color work well to show this fall scene. It looks like you did catch someone walking along the path. Too bad they weren't wearing something more colorful. I might have straightened this even more than Sol's image. To me the center tree should have been vertical. That would make the lines of the terrain horizontal. I would have also liked to see the bottom of the falls included if possible. |

The back lighting with the shadows showing through on the petals make an interesting abstract. In a perfect world, I might have liked the black spike in a position so it was surrounded by the orange ones. |

That really works for me. Just the plain hen house looks waaaay better than any I had when I was a kid. Merry Christmas to you and yours. |

The drops and the reflections really work well. Do you think that the framing might draw too much attention? You might try selecting a darker shade of the same color so it is more subtle. |

I know a fellow that retired from the railroad and I sent this to him to see if he wants to see if they will let him come out of retirement. For some reason, he wasn't interested in doing that.

I think I have seen Christmas ads for Lionel. It's been a long time since I had one of those. It probably would have been a windup train if there was such a thing. I do some model train things but it would be simpler to buy new ones instead of trying to find what I already have.

This was in a rail yard and was hooked to a unit train. I think it was empty grain cars. It seems like I have heard that there are 110 cars in the grain trains. There are also coal trains going through the yard but I don't think they use cars like what was hooked behind these engines.
