1 Nov 20 Comment That was a good catch, both for you and the bird. Did you shoot in a burst? I wonder what other ones in the sequence might have looked like. It definitely has the fish but I am wondering if he might not have been hidden as much in the water drops just a little after this was taken. Nov 24th
1 Nov 20 Comment I like the framing and the mountain leaves no doubt about the subject. Something else you might try is to use an adjustment layer to remove the blue and then paint black back in over the mountain to keep the color there.

I wonder about the haze on each side of the mountain scene. Did you use a large soft brush for some adjustments in just the mountain scene?

1 Nov 20 Comment I too thought it looked somewhat muddy which is usually a lack of contrast. I had to play around with it too. I did try a polarizing filter which wouldn't be like having one on the camera and it does kind of give an idea of how that might have helped. Nov 24th
1 Nov 20 Comment At first glance I am taken by all the white but then I have no desire to move off of the butterfly.

I you do any cropping, I would get rid of the dark areas close to the butterfly.

1 Nov 20 Comment I agree about the lack of something to keep the eye from wandering around the image. The green tree right in the center looks like it might want to be the subject, but it is hard to compete with all the gold leaves.

You might have tried to move in to just the few trees behind the rock in the right corner. You could do a vertical and leave the sky out.

1 Nov 20 Reply That's an idea. I might just have to change my image.

1 Nov 20 Comment You have great sharpness throughout. I'm surprised that you got that with Helicon focus with a breeze blowing. I would think it would be hard to line up the individual images. I don't know about the stroke. I would like to see a more complete rectangle but that would be hard to do with this subject. Maybe a slight vignette could have been used to keep the viewer's eye where you wanted it. Nov 24th
1 Nov 20 Reply Thanks, I wouldn't have either if it wasn't for the of "Mask" in the 365 Day Gallery. Nov 16th
1 Nov 20 Reply It is a lot easier to breath with this than the other kind. :)
