This is the original RAW image right out of the camera. I avoid renting anything so I no longer use Photoshop. I do have Elements 20 but do a lot of the editing with Luminar 4. Most of the editing besides cropping involved tweaking the image.

This is great. I have a hard enough time trying to capture flying insects without dealing with the heavy setup that you used. I did see something hovering long enough above some flowers the other day that would have been a good subject like this if I had a camera with me at the time. |

I do agree with the other comments. I do like the layered look in the hills but they don't really show that much. Is there any reason you want a low ISO? Have you tried just setting it on Auto ISO? I would think that you camera would do just fine and you wouldn't need to worry about as much about adjusting your camera in the swells. |

I really like the way the lines lead the eye through the image. My eye goes to the lamp post on the left side. I might do a little more cropping and cloning to remove more of the attention that the lamp post get. |

The concrete framing works well with your subject. I was wondering about the color of the face until I read your comment. I thought the white balance might have been thrown off if it had been taken in the shade, but I couldn't do much with it when I tried to correct it. |

The critter was posing nicely for you. If you had time to work with this before it took off, you might have tried to raise the camera a little so you wouldn't have had as much out of focus foreground covering part of your subject. The color in the out of focus flowers does keep this from being so much of a monochrome image.

Great idea. I might have tried to zap the little white specks around the seeds but that is something minor. A narrow stroke would help to separate the image from the black background on the webpage. |
