1 Feb 20 Comment The silhouettes of the people with the otherwise simple sky and foreground hold the eye to your subject. I agree on cropping off some of the black at the bottom. That would position the bridge in a better position.

Just a suggestion. For projection or on the black background on the website, you might add a small gray stroke around it so the viewer could see just how much of the black is included in the image.

1 Feb 20 Comment Great shot.I was surprised with the detail that you had in the black feathers along with detail in the snow. That is quite a range. I don't know if you might have had some snow along with the sky that was reflecting some like back on the Raven. It works well for you. Feb 25th
1 Feb 20 Comment Before I looked at any of the comments, I was thinking I would see what would happen just by increasing the contrast. It seemed kind of flat. Then I saw the other examples and decided that I couldn't improve on them. Feb 25th
1 Feb 20 Comment I didn't realize that you had put mistletoe in the tree. I thought you just had some early spring vegetation.

I like the positioning of the Robin looking up to the upper left. I do agree with everyone that the blurred out of focus branches in the foreground are a distraction. I'm surprised that they weren't picked up by your camera and focused on them instead of the Robin.

1 Feb 20 Comment When I first looked at this, I thought the same as Dave. It did look like a sail since eye doesn't really stand out. To add to the illusion of some really strange critter, the head of the Sail Tailed Bird appears to be peeking over the back of a strange headless bird.

Good Catch. The low sun angle give a nice warm color to the blue of the background.

1 Feb 20 Comment Very nicely done. I don't know if you would actually see geese flying in formation that close to the ground. Feb 25th
