The fog in the valleys is great. I do like they way that the village is framed by the hillsides but I wonder if it is even necessary to be included in the image. It seems to draw my eye away from what, in my opinion, is the more interesting portion of the image. I might crop off some of the sky while trying to keep the horizon from the middle of the image. |

I really like the various tones of the logs. The black log that is angled the opposite direction is your main subject. When I first looked at this, I wondered if you could have shown the logs less vertical if you had moved further out on the dock but you would have lost the sand setting off the individual logs.
I agree with the cropping suggestions but I might have done even more that some of the suggestions. |

This is an interesting image. I like the perspective when you are looking down so many levels. You do need a person included for the eye to settle on. I like the position of the one in red but the others don't really need to be included. If you could have gotten her one level lower, the motion wouldn't have been as noticeable. |

I like the way the nails and their shadows make check marks in the image. You might trying to enhance the abstraction by making this a square with just the top of the post and no background. You couldn't do this in camera since you would lose the check marks but this could be skewed and cropped to pull it off. |

The sepia tone works well with this image. It is an interesting plaque. I can't see where that would be the original marker. It took me some looking to see how it was attached to the stump. I am not familiar with the options available in Lightroom any more but I know darkening just the sky to keep the viewer's eye on your subject would be an easy fix in Photoshop during the monochrome conversion.
By the way, trees grow wider as they grow taller. A branch or anything attached to the trunk would stay at the same height. |

The frogs are very interesting subjects. The darker areas of the background help them to stand out. The lighter areas need to be toned down so they don't draw that much attention away from your subjects. It seem like you have very little depth of field. If possible you might have tried stopping down the aperture and increasing the ISO. |

The barn is not level. It's on it's way down. I doubt if it will last another couple years. I have seen it really getting worse since I first noticed it about 15 years ago.I hate seeing these old barns go. This is the 6th one in the area that I used to use for a subject and it is the only one still standing. |

I'll try it and see what I can do. I didn't notice the HDR halo until after I had put it up here. I did take care of that.
Thanks
