1 Oct 18 Comment I think that the boats look so realistic. I agree with the black water. I don't know the layout of the pond but would it have been possible to get lower and try from one side or the other to possibly come closer to filling the frame with just the boats and less water? Oct 22nd
1 Oct 18 Comment I thought that this was a shadow when I first looked at it. I don't mind the composition with the tree in the center. The framing on the sides seem to work for me. I would rather not have the large shadow on the rock since it combines with the silhouette. Oct 22nd
1 Oct 18 Comment The out of focus portion doesn't bother me. I would like to see the lighter areas in the foreground toned down. It does seem to draw attention away from the little girl. Oct 22nd
1 Oct 18 Comment I think it looks good. You might try to dodge the right eye area a bit. Normally, I wouldn't like the way the hat merges with the border but in this case, I don't see any problem with it since it looks intentional. Oct 22nd
1 Oct 18 Comment I'll go along with the other comments, especially the bright spots on the background foliage. Could you have stopped down the lens a little to get the entire tulip in focus without bringing out too much detail in the green areas? Oct 22nd
1 Oct 18 Comment You did a good job of removing the out of focus grass on the bird. Could you have removed all of it? It does look confusing to have out the grass out of focus in front and behind the sharp subject. The lighting seems quite flat, almost like you used a ring flash but the catch light in the eye doesn't show that. Oct 22nd
1 Oct 18 Reply It does get more complicated with all the stems here. It also works best if there are sharp edges separating what you want to keep and what you want to lose.

1 Oct 18 Reply It did take a lot of time to make the selection since there was so much to remove. I do use the Remask probably more than any of the other Topaz products. Oct 12th
