1 Aug 18 Comment Looks great. You have the island well positioned in the frame. It is up to you if you would like to add enhancement to the ripples. To me there is enough of a hint of them to give a hint of the presence of the water. Aug 18th
1 Aug 18 Comment I like what you were doing here. The curve of the walkway leads you through the image nicely.

I think that the Golden Light of the early morning sun works against bringing out the pinks of the blossoms. I am also bothered by how close the couple is the edges at the top. They look like perfect subjects for this if you could have caught them without anyone else in the frame. You might have been laying there for a long time waiting for the crowd to thin out.

You might also try cropping off the bottom half. You don't need all of that walkway and the reflection of the overhanging tree seems to be getting more attention then necessary.

1 Aug 18 Comment It does look like an interesting door. It looks like there could be a lot to work with here. If you could do HDR, I think that the material inside the door could add more interest than the dark walls. I think that the bracing on the inside of the door is more interesting than the plain outside. Maybe you could have opened it fully to show the inside of the door and the outside of the barn.

I might have added a white border between the images to separate them.

1 Aug 18 Reply I thought that it looked knee high and that would be scary to have especially above ground level. I kept trying to figure out how that grid could have been some kind of protection from falling. I can see where a hanging garden would really look nice but not at all easy to keep it up unless it was artificial.

1 Aug 18 Comment The lines are great. I was thinking the same thing about having something in the area where the lines are leading the eye. Maybe even waiting for the fellow on the other side to come around. I also thought that the elevators were lights.

What would you think about cropping a little off the bottom to remove the windows?

Something that does look strange in the architecture itself. Is the railing actually low and what is the dark horizontal grid running through the image?

1 Aug 18 Comment Great fall color. The boat really adds attention where needed. The framing and the trail lead you to it. It does seem to compete and draw attention away from the rest of the scene. Since it was a foggy morning, you might try lightening it a bit. It appears that you did some dodging on the branch coming out of the river and it also shows beside it. Aug 17th
1 Aug 18 Reply The balloon is mostly as silhouette against a sunrise. I did lighten a silhouetted balloon from a previous to get some color and still keep it looking natural. Aug 6th
1 Aug 18 Comment This is what the whole sky looked like that morning. The balloon that I found was being back lit on the right side. I could have flipped the sky and added the balloon on the other side of the sun but it didn't seem as impressive that way. The clear spot seemed to less confusing area to place it. Aug 5th
