This was part of the Topaz Studio. Don't ask me which one. I haven't found it again but then I only looked once or twice after I did this.

This is great. I really like the low angle that you have taken. The repetition of the reflections in the grille keep drawing the eye back into the image. I like the small portion of the flames on the hood which, along with the lights, hold everything together. |

I think that you have captured the vastness of the patterns throughout this area. You probably need the hazy horizon to show this.
I, too, would like to see something to catch my eye. The green area with the stream in the center at the right looks like it might have some possibilities. To me the brown areas serve as a distraction. |

The lighting really sets a mood to go with the dry flower. At first I was distracted by the lighter areas in the corner but I think they work well. I would definitely do something with the brown stem. It could be completely removed. Try some dodging on the center of the flower. |

Great capture. It really does tell a story. You do have good sharpness. I might try darkening the area that "It" is standing on. |

Nice and sharp. I haven't been around aquariums like this very much but it does look a lot cleaner than the one I saw with jelly fish. I had a lot of stuff floating around in it.
I do agree with the other comments. You might have tried a little lower camera angle so the main anemone would have the darker background behind it. A simple vignette could have helped to tone down the lower portion of the image. |

I think it did come out great. I was thought about making an apparatus to do something similar to Helicon Focus way back in my film days but I never got around to it. I saw an example of what could be done with it in a seminar years ago but I still haven't taken the jump to get it.
I thought that I might like to see something besides just a solid black background. I tried Topaz Remask to select the bug and played around with something different for the background. By the way, when I was doing this, I saw that you did what could be the painting you did around your subject. |

I haven't played around with it enough to know just what I did so I can repeat this. I use a couple Topaz Remask all the time along with a couple others but there is so much more to learn.
