It would really have helped if the exposure was correct. I am still trying to get used to that camera and there is still a lot to learn. The buttons are so easy to hit and then a lot of fun trying to correct what you did with an unknown button. I was impressed by how much information was still available.

I like it but I have trouble thinking the red is natural. We don't get that much even when the sun is shining through forest fire smoke. What would you think about moving the dark cloud at the bottom of the sun? |

Maybe I'm weird but I kind of like this. The grass makes this look like it has fallen face first onto the ground. I would like to see it all in focus and probably without the grass in front of the eye. Something else you might have tried is a real shallow depth of field with the grass in sharp focus and the totem out. It would probably need to be in monochrome so the color of the totem wouldn't be a distraction. |

I wonder how it would be if you placed the shell into the "mouth" of the rock. Would it be Escargot? Very interesting rock. I would like to see this lightened some to increase the highlights. Here is a picture with some adjustment to the histogram in Levels. |

I tend to agree with the other comments. I would like to see a little more depth of field if possible. You might have included all of the feet. Good shot. |

I like the way the tree frames the formation in the background. There does seem to be a little haloing between it and the sky and maybe under the tree as well. The histogram looks like the highlights could be brightened up a little. Very nice image. |

I have an idea that much can be recovered because it was a RAW image. |
