You are right about the sun hitting the cables. It does make the bridge stand out against the darker clouds.
I might as well add my thoughts about the bird too. I like it in there but it does seem to weigh down the right side of the image. Try moving it around. Maybe toward the center a little bit. |

I like the dark areas surrounding the window. Normally, I would think to add a slight stroke to keep the eye from wandering away to the black background but here I like it the way it is.
I do agree with Neal's suggestion to work on the color of the lights. With this scene you would normally expect the lights to have more of a tungsten cast yellowish cast.
Good image. |

I like the blacks in contrast with the white snow. I would also like to see the skiers larger in the image. You don't show what lens you used but if you were able to use a longer telephone and move back to keep the trees the same size, they would have appeared larger. |

I like the pose you have captured. The branch adds interest and the bird is more interesting than if it had just been sitting on the branch. I like the catch light in the eye.
I always like to check the histogram early on in my post processing. Looking at it here, you could boost the contrast by moving the sliders toward the center. It would also brighten the sky. |

The warm colors of the formations contrasts nicely with the dark sky. I like the way you have the three formations framed by the rocks around them. You might even crop off some of the bottom. You could also try a little vignetting to keep the eye on the three figures.
I have found that Topaz Remask works well to separate an object from the background. In this case, you could have done whatever you wanted to do with the sky on a lower layer without worrying about the halos. |

I didn't even notice the shoe at first. When I used all the images for the pano, there was a whole leg in that area and I think it was missing a whole player in the background. This probably isn't something that I will use anywhere but it was interesting. I tried it before at a football game with the same player running with the ball in 3 different places.

There are actually 4 basketballs and 5 #20 players and 2 #22 players. This is what happens when you take 13 images of someone running down the court and then combine them as a panorama in Photoshop. I didn't use all 13 images. I think it might have been 8.
