1 Jan 18 Comment The tower does give a sense of size to the mountain. It also seems to be somewhat of a distraction to the rest of the scene. I was thinking that the slope of the mountain on the left leads the eye out of the scene but cropping it off would eliminate the interesting cloud formation. Maybe if you could have waited for that formation to move into the scene without losing the orange, you could have done some cropping on that side. Jan 17th
1 Jan 18 Comment The ridge with the trees make a good base for the mountain in the background. Without them, you wouldn't have near the impact. You need all three elements. Good job. Jan 17th
1 Jan 18 Comment Well, I think that I have to disagree with David. I am sure that he would upset the John Deere crowd by calling this a John Deere. They wouldn't care what color you made the tractor. I think that the strip down the front of the radiator says Oliver. While I am at it, I might as well disagree with Sol. I don't think that you would see this clearing snow the way the tires look.

I do like David's crop and was thinking that there was too much sky. I was thinking about leaving the tree chunks on the right but I like it better with some of it cropped off.

1 Jan 18 Comment When I first looked at this, I thought that I would like to see more of what the others called the spectator bird but then I thought the same thing even before I read the other comments. If it wasn't watching the action, it would have been a distraction. I like that you have an odd number of birds included. It does look noisy to me too. It looks like you didn't have much light to work with but I would have liked to see the motion stopped on the bird to the right if possible. Jan 17th
1 Jan 18 Comment It doesn't look natural but I really like what you have done to it. It could have a divided subject between the foreground and the background but the river helps the eye go from the front to the back of the image. Jan 17th
