It is a nice pattern study. I would like to see more depth of field so everything is in focus to give it more of a two dimensional feel. |

I saw the face right away but I did just happened to see one that wasn't as distinct as yours. Mine did have a better mouth but that was it. Good observation but it probably win many gold medals for you. It is a good fun type of shot. |

You subject works well with the ancient tree in the background. The cigarette helps draw the eye to the weathered face. I would agree that it could be lightened some and I think that cropping some off the left probably does add to the composition. |

You couldn't have a better subject for this scene. The weathered dark face goes well with the ancient tree. I like the white cigarette that really draws the eye to the face. I would agree that the face could be lightened some especially to the eyes. I can see where some cropping could also be beneficial. |

While both the right and left figures frame your subject nicely, they seem to add confusion to the scene. I would like see more of the scene around the head in the sand. It is tough when you can't control the action or surroundings. |

You caught this at just the right time to show the action. Great detail and the background is perfect. I would like to see either the whole lion at the bottom or, as Neal says, crop in closer to the face. The lighting is quite flat, probably because of the time of day and your position but you need to get what you can in a case like this. |

Great shot. It would have been nice to have the whole butterfly sharp but you do have the important parts. The back of the body and wings aren't what draw the eyes like the head. I like the diagonal stalk of the flower. |

I did try it with just PS but it seemed like I had some blue that was really showing up. It was a lot easier with Aurora even though I just got it and who reads the instructions before you try something out?
