I like the way you used the lower camera angle. It really emphasizes the texture in the water. I might have tried cropping off the bare sky at the top to make this more of a panorama. I think that portion of the sky draws too much attention away for the various formations in the lower portion of your image. |

I like the odd number of rounded elements on the window sill. The dead flower stimulates the imagination about a story that might be presented here. I think that I would like to see this without the reduced contrast so the eye would be drawn more to the items on the window sill. |

I am trying to think if I like this or not. I do think that the background goes well with the silhouettes and I think it is an interesting idea. You might try using the background as a texture on an image of palm trees or even for some other creative idea. |

I like the warm colors of the red and the cool blues of the water. The patterns of the wake in the deep blue of the water are really fascinating to me. I might try cropping this a little different than Lee to include more of that. Maybe try cropping off most of the axle of the paddle wheel and leave more on the sides to keep more of that pattern. |

I agree with Lee. It does remove a lot of the unnecessary background including most of the out of focus leaf that partially covers the ant. I would probably try to decrease the contrast. I usually use Levels for this but you would have more control if you used Curves for this. I am curious if that is an ant leg halfway between the spider shadow and the ant? |

Good ideas. I might have been able to do some of those. It didn't help that everyone else was sitting in the car while I took this. I don't have any plans to go back here to retake this. Besides that, the clouds a probably gone now since this was taken almost a month ago.
